SUN + SHOPPING = SUMMER

SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE... WOOHOOO

 

l am soo excited, to finally see the sun coming out.. l live in the UK so seeing and feeling it baking my skin brings- ENDLESS SMILES :)

So girls its time to put away the Coats and Uggs, Gloves and Scarfs. (Well if you leave in the UK like moi l would advice to keep the coat near by, cause you never know when the sun decides to say goodbye)

Whats HOT..... for Spring/Summer 2010

-- One hot trend is the pastels/neutral colour for spring 2010. Mixed print florals, ruffles, pale pinks, nudes and grey were huge on the Spring 2010 runways.

These girly dresses are cute, sassy, and a must have for the pastel season, especially hot for trips to the mall, a barbeque or any occasions when you need to dress up. '' l'm sweet and innocent'' is what theses dresses, say..however it's what shoes you were them with that change the whole look. Were them with gladiator sandals and its 'sweet'. Wear the dress with heels and its 'sweet and sexy' or just simple flats.

The colours are fresh, soft and pretty.

That's What I Call Good Music :)

R'n'B music fans

OK so the sexy TREY SONGZ released his album "Ready" l'm sure that R'n'B lovers will agree with me when l say that his album was hot, hot, hot. I think he has made his mark as one of the best in the R'n'B world and for sure here to stay. With his charming self and good looks, it's no surprise the ladies are screaming their heads off at the sight off him. But of course he is extremely talented and some people might even say he has taken Chris Brown's place and he is the next Usher or King of R'n'B. He is one to look out for and if you haven't heard his latest album or any of his music, l suggest you rush to his website where you can listen to all his albums. l'm sure he'll do great hings in the future.

Rock music with a twist.

Lil Wayne aka Weezy released the album "Rebirth" before going to jail. This album was a more on the 'rock' music genre and l'm sure rock fans appreciated it and those fans who love both Hip-Hop music and Rock music were not disappointed. (Being one of those people myself , l loved it) With the song "Drop the world" featuring Eminem , it showed a darker side of Wayne and you get to know him more. Do l think his 'the best rapper alive'  as he and his fans say? Ermm yes i do, personally l think he is one of the top 4 best rappers alive. You can't deny that he is a  lyrically genius and his whole persona is interesting.

So for those who are 'Rock n roll' lovers l would say it is worth listening to his album .... who knows you might like the 'hip-hop' twist that it has. For those who generally love music, listen to it. And those who are devoted hip-hop fans give it a try who might be suprised that the 'rock' feel to Wayne's rapping is actually good.

Sound familiar girls? We are definitely too critical of ourselves, girls! l myself am a victim of this. We spend too much time critisizing ourselves and looking at our flaws, that we sometimes forget to celebrate out beauty.  I guess sometimes we can't help but to critisize ourselves because all around us we are bombarded by pictures of girls that appear to be 'perfect' . However lets not forget that behind that picture is layers of make-up and hours of photoshop.
lnstead of looking at our 'flaws' ,lets look at the good. Highlight your best features. Don't be afraid to show off what your Mama gave you. Celebrate and embrace your body and make the most of it. No one out there is perfect. So go out there with a smile, be confident and strut your stuff because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL !!!
